"Julie graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Business in 1997. From there she undertook further study and graduated with a Graduate Diploma of Taxation in 1998, once again from Central Queensland University.

Julie moved to the Gold Coast in 1997 and went to work for Carlise Accountants (formerly Ash & Carlisle Pty Ltd). From here she moved to work as a Senior Accountant for The Navigator Network (formerly Gorrie Stokes & Associates). It is here that she was admitted as a CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant)."
