"eks Solutions has a history dating back to 1951 when John Hebenton commenced Practice under the name of J A Hebenton & Associates, located in Como which provided tax and accounting services.

In the mid 1970s, Keith Edwards and Richard Karwacki became partners and the practice experienced continued growth.

John Hebenton retired in 1980 and the name of the practice was changed to Edwards Karwacki & Co. In 1985 Mark Smith became a partner and in 1986 the practice was incorporated and renamed ""Edwards Karwacki Smith Pty Ltd"".

2003 saw a name change as a result of joining an alliance of similar sized, like minded public practices located throughout Australia and New Zealand to create the Australian Solutions Group."
